Morokulien TouristCenter

 

ORGANIZATION

The TouristCenter in Eda is organized by Eda municipality, subordinate to the Municipal Director.

OVERALL

The TouristCenter in Eda (called Morokulien TouristCenter) is working in several different areas with the aim of strengthening the municipality's accessibility and attract visitors. The unit's focus is to increase the number of commercial guest nights, and support the shops, events and attractions with admission to increase their turnover. In order to create added value and good results a good collaboration is required through various internal and external forums.

The unit works with three categories of visitors:

The overnight visitors
Day visitors
International visitors
Morokulien TouristCenter collaborates with: tourism in Eda and Eidskog. Head of Culture, Leisure Department, Business Department and other municipal administrations within Eda. Head of Culture in Eidskog municipality.

Morokulien TouristCenter also collaborates with Visit Värmland Economic Association, Finnskogsleden, Eidskog Enterprise Association and Western Värmland Pilgrim paths.

We like to help you. You are always welcome to contact us to facilitate your stay here in Eda and have the extra fun. In Morokulien TouristCenter, we can help you with booking accommodation, finding wonderful experiences, or other  things to do. At the TouristCenter you will find brochures about Eda and Värmland, but also from parts of Sweden and Norway. Here is a selection of souvenirs with themes: Sweden, Värmland and Norway. You can also buy stamps, Morokulienpass, heritage cards, maps, books, local crafts and much more.

Opening hours for the rest of 2017:

Monday - Friday 8 - 16 
From the 22 december we close at noon (12:00) and will remain closed for the rest of 2017.

2 May - 21 June:                    daily 08:00 - 16:00
22 June - 26 August:              daily 09:00 - 18:00
27 August - 30 September:    daily 08:00 - 16:00
1 October - 31 December:      Mon - Fri 08:00 - 16:00

The TouristCenter will be closed on large holidays, such as the National Day June 6 and Midsummer, and also on training days.
