Eda has a wide range of activities year round. Summertime attracts the natural surroundings to eg fishing, canoeing and hiking on Finnskogsleden, a 240 km long walking trail from Morokulien in the south to Trysil in the north. At Noresund you'll find an 18-hole golf course surrounded by the beautiful lake Hugn.

The district has many border historic monuments, including the Peace Monument, Eda Skans, Eda Skans Museum, WW II Museum in Järnskog, Skansen Hultet and Eda Glasmuseum. The old Eda glassworks was shut down in 1953, but much glass is preserved.
Homestead compounds are very active, especially in the Summer when they are open to the public. Here you can buy coffee or tea with homemade bread, look at crafts and exhibitions, and enjoy entertainment of various kinds that attracts visitors to take a trip to these historical surroundings.
